Create a “Brand Cloud”
A cool little way to visually check what words are associated with your brand by using search engine results and a tool called TagCrowd. From Scott Baradell at Media Orchard:
“I like to use TagCrowd, which creates tag clouds based on word frequency. I simply take all the words in the first three pages of the search results for a brand, dump them in TagCloud and see what it spits out. It’s a great tool for visualizing the terms people see (and thereby associate) with your brand”

- Not all video portals are created equal
- You may be a conservative organization, but don’t let that keep you from this medium
- This medium will become measurable

Dell Hell - Reputation Management
Dell is learning first hand how difficult the transparency of the internet can be. An ex-Dell employee leaked some secrets on how to get a good deal on Dell computers. Dell proceeded to send a somewhat bullying e-mail to a blog owner demanding the information be taken down. In turn, the blogger posted the e-mail exchange here.
I think most would agree the correspondence makes Dell’s legal team look pretty foolish from a consumer POV.
Hat tip to Andy Beal.
